End of Season Picnic!
The end of the season picnic will be on THURSDAY JUNE 18TH starting at 6:00 pm. at the Oak Pavilion in Carson Park. The league is providing grilled chicken and we are also asking that everyone please bring a dish to pass along with beverages of your choice.


Major league: Desserts
Minor league: Salads
Rookie league: Chips
T-ball league: Plates, Napkins and Utensils (enough for everyone)
There will prizes for kids to win and anyone that is interested will be attending the Cavs game that starts at 7;30pm. Be sure to bring the season pass. Hope to see you all there!!
1st Annual
Sawdust City Slam
We just completed the first annual major league Sawdust City Slam tournament. This tournament involved all major league players from the National and the American league. Games were held at Fairfax and Delong throughout the week but every team finished their season at the beautiful Gelein Field in Carson Park. Our Sand Gnats placed second in the tournament! Minor League Tournament
The E.C. American and E.C. National minor league tournament is now complete. Our Pirates placed third in the tournament. Thank you everyone for your flexibility after Monday's rain postponment. The brackets for the minor league tournament can be found at this link Minor League Tournament.
Memorial Day Pick-up Games and Picnic
We celebrated Memorial Day with an afternoon of pick-up games, food and fun. Thank you to Amy and Shawn Standiford for organizing this event.
Thank You Outback Steakhouse and Erbert and Gerberts!
Our 2nd Annual Team Day at the Outback Steakhouse was a great success. Players and families met their coaches and a tasty lunch complete with desert was served. Thank you to everyone who attended. The Outback has been very generous in sponsoring our Minor league and other programs as well. We're so fortunate to have them for a sponsor.Erbert and Gerberts sponsored our T-Ball Team Day. Board Members Needed We are currently looking to fill four board positions for 2010. These are; President, Vice President, Safety Officer and Concession Manager. If you are interested, please let a current board member know!
We have experienced a number of exciting changes to the American Little League in 2009. Our league has changed slightly to align with other area leagues. Ages are now:
- Major League-11 and 12 years old
- Minor League - 9 and 10 years old
- Rookie League - 7 and 8 years old
- T-ball Program - 5 and 6 years old
We emphasize that the American Little League in a "no cut" league and we are hope to get many new players this year. No prior baseball skills are required.
